Tatenda C Muronda

Tatenda C. Muronda is a seasoned finance and governance professional with extensive experience in financial management, risk oversight, and organizational leadership. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe (ICAZ), where she actively contributes to the profession through participation in various committees focused on strengthening financial reporting standards, governance, and professional development.

She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and serves on the executive committee of the Zimbabwe chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), where she contributes to advancing best practices in fraud prevention, investigation, and financial integrity within organizations.

Further strengthening her expertise at the intersection of finance and technology, Tatenda recently attained the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification, enhancing her capabilities in information systems auditing, IT governance, cybersecurity risk management, and digital control frameworks. This qualification positions her strongly in supporting organizations navigating digital transformation while maintaining robust governance and compliance structures.

Tatenda brings over 15 years of executive management experience within the financial services sector, where she has led strategic initiatives in finance, risk management, internal controls, and operational efficiency. Through this experience, she has developed a strong appreciation of the critical role that technology and information systems play in driving sustainable growth, transparency, and organizational resilience.

She is an executive member of the Professional Women in Business Group (PROWEB) and serves as a board member on several organizations, contributing her expertise in governance, strategy, and financial oversight. Tatenda is also passionate about youth empowerment, mentorship, and increasing the participation of women in technology, finance, and leadership.

Through her professional and community engagements, she continues to advocate for strong governance, ethical leadership, and the development of future leaders who will shape Africa’s digital and financial landscape.
